Brian's Top Sports Movies: No. 10

For the next several Wednesdays, I'll be posting and briefly discussing my top 10 sports movies. This list is in no way meant to be scientific or attempting to suggest what should be your top 10 sports movies. It is merely a fun list of sports movies that really intrigue me.

10. Raging Bull

Martin Scorsese is my favorite movie director and Robert de Niro is one of my top 5 favorite actors. Somehow, despite the fact I admire Scorsese and de Niro, I have not actually seen Raging Bull. 

But, based on the fact I love The Departed, Goodfellas, Casino, Shutter Island, Gangs of New York, Cape Fear, Hugo, Taxi Driver, and other Scorsese movies, I can only imagine the quality of Raging Bull. 

Couple those facts with an 8.3/10 IMDB score and a 92/100 Metascore, Raging Bull makes the top 10 out of respect. Once I see this movie, I am sure it will climb higher in the rankings.
