It was a beneficial wee for my Fantasy teams as they both were victorious. We're tied for 2nd in both leagues and getting ready for a potential playoff push. Here's this week's breakdown:
Trending Up - TY Hilton - Perilously close to not playing again because of his boom or bust style, Hilton came up big for me as I benched Andre Johnson. 200+ yards and a TD. Giving myself a pat on the back for that one. Larry Fitzgerald - The AJ Green injury sent me scrambling for a wide receiver. Fitzgerald hadn't been himself this year but with the return of Carson Palmer, I took a chance. Good thing for me it worked out. Lesean McCoy - The man has been MIA the first few weeks of the season. It wasn't a spectacular outing for Shady, but certainly a step in the right direction.
Trending Down - Julio Jones - Matt Ryan has not time so Julio doesn't have many catches. He's underperformed most of the year and this week was no exception. Chris Ivory - After wrestling away the majority of the carries from Chris Johnson, Ivory laid an egg for the second game in a row. 2 points ain't going to cut it on this team. The only problem is I don't know who else to play. Buffalo Defense - Looks like Tom Brady is starting to figure things out. Great. I dropped him two weeks ago. The Bills have been stout this year but Brady shredded them pretty easily this week. Hopefully they get back on track next week. If not, at least they get to play the Jets twice a year.
This Week: 2 (Yahoo and ESPN) - 0
Overall: Both teams are 4-2 with a hold on 2nd place.
In other Fantasy News, Destiny is a total timesuck. Fortunately it has only affected school work and not Fantasy Football.
